Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of Cook in S3. :-\ Of course part of that is probably because I'm on Team Freddie in this triangle of doom (I know, I know -- I'm a terrible person for letting shipping politics affect my opinion of him), but in general he's just a TERRIBLE friend to Freddie this series and only cares about getting what he wants. Ugh.
BUT YOU HAVE SEEN THE EPIC KISS OF EPIC. Thoughts? I know that even people who don't ship Freddie/Effy agree that it's beautifully shot. ♥
Is it weird that I'm more mad at him for what he did to Karen? THAT WAS SO UNNECESSARY. HOW COULD YOU DO THAT. >( I was irritated with Freddie because of how he was being before (you can't call your sister a whore! Angst if you want but there are lines you don't cross!) and then he started being nicer about it and I was like oh okay I like you then and it was like surprise! Here is Cook ready to take that burden of dislike upon his shoulders. Idk, I don't find the triangle interesting enough for it to much affect my feelings, I'm just kind of like ok whatever, you three proceed with your masochism tango. Like with Effy I'm more interested with her friendship with Pandora, with Freddie he seems like an okay guy but he needs more development to interest me and with Cook I veer back on forth whether I like him enough to actually care.
and uhh now that I've tl;dr'd all over this comment, yes I've seen the kiss! It really is a very pretty shot, I don't have much thoughts though because like I said the triangle doesn't interest me much. I mean I'd probably lean to Freddie/Effy for sheer aesthetics sake because they look good together but. -hands- Be a more interesting person Freddie!
