I am having a fantastic day! A tiny part of which is because I finally caught up with my Tech readings (which weren't as long as I thought they were! Let this be a lesson to you self) but mostly because I found THIS:

P.S. I really hope Amy gets to kick people throughout this season. =D

Introspectus Gaius and his self-justifications.

I really like this for the clear picture it gives into Gaius' head and the explanation for why he keeps magic secret from Morgana. As you're all probably aware, his refusal to teach Morgana about her magic has been one of the chief reasons I grew distinctly less fond of him throughout season 2. It helps getting to see why. =) selenak's Merlin fanfiction is quite good about character insight really, you should read them all.

So I really really need to stop rewatching Meddle and write up my Required Reading Proposal for my poli sci class (speaking of which I think this is the first time where I've been intimidated by the shortness of an assignment. How on Earth am I going to make a strong argument for the book in under 750 words? DDD=). So I figure reccing some of my favourites will be a nice way to get myself to stop watching and start working.

Meddle (Vampire Diaries) I think the choice of song for this is fantastic, it's unbelievably catchy and half the reason I keep playing this vid. The other half of course is that it's an awesome look at Vicki in all her messed up tragic glory. Also a good salve for everyone else who was disappointed with the choice to kill Vicki off so early on (and who stuck out their tongue at the ridiculous writer who claimed it had to be done because vampire girl/human boy romance was already played out on True Blood. Umm right. Because vamp!boy/human!girl is so fresh and original).

Names (Vampire Diaries) One of the prettiest vids I've seen so far. This is a very short look at Bonnie and the family history storyline she's had on TVD. Very clear; works for someone who isn't at all familiar with the show as well.

Sweet Spot (Glee) Watching this vid makes me temporarily forget how much I dislike Will! Will/Finn shipper vid which is still a lot of fun for those not a fan of the pairing (-waves hand about-). Also makes it really clear how much Will and Finn's storylines tend to parallel each other which I think is a deliberate choice on the part of the producers (y'know what with Will and the 'I will relive my high school glory days with Finn as my avatar!' thing he's got going on).

All the Swinging You Around (Little Mosque on the Prairie) Really fun ensemble vid of Little Mosque on the Prairie. Made me want to pick up the show again (I've only seen the first season. I think I didn't keep going because I was a little too sensitive to the inaccuracies? But it looks like a lot of fun which should be enough to override the occasional irritation. ^o^).

I don't. =D Seriously, I react to having too much to do by watching more TV and reading more books. I don't actually know how it is I manage to not fail out of everything ever, I like to take it as proof of God's benevolence.

Speaking of which, got my Tech and Civilization exam back! 88% which is alright if a little lower than what I was hoping for. I'll just have to write a really awesome paper in March to make up for it.

While I'm at it, you all should check out this vid. I have watched it approximately a bazillion and eight times these past two weeks. It's Doctor Who so you'll probably appreciate it more if you've watched the show but I've only seen about two of the episodes the clips are from (it's all stuff from the Tenth Doctor's run which I've not seen much of yet) and it works pretty well for me. Also I feel reassured that I will not be overly heartbroken when Rose leaves because clearly Martha is going to be awesomesauce on awesomecake. Don't know about Donna just yet but apparently she has adventures in her wedding dress which is a point in her favour.

Augh, I haven't been skating at all this year and reading this fic just made me miss it so HARD. D= Maybe if I do my math homework early tomorrow, I can talk my dad into taking me to the rink.

I can't believe I haven't gone skating since LAST YEAR. 0_o

There are people on youtube who hate Katy Perry's cover of Use Your Love. I can not understand these people. Their mindset is foreign to me.



Why would you hate this? I mean I've never heard the original sure, but her's sounds good. :/

I discovered a new comic book series. It's called The 99 and it's pretty awesome from what I've seen of it.
