Aug. 8th, 2009 12:03 pm=D I am now in possession of IRONMAN. This almost makes up for the fact that I didn't get the Intro to English Lit course I wanted. -sulks- Dammit, English majors, don't any of you procrastinate? Or consider not taking your courses on Thursdays?
First though, I need to go finish watching Rent. Which you should check out if you haven't. It's a musical and it's basically full of everything awesome you can think of -- awesome pairings (Tom Collins and Angel are the happiest most joy inducing couple I've ever seen and if one of them dies of AIDS in the end DON'T TELL ME, I don't want to know. Plus there's Roger and Mimi -- Roger's all 'woe I have baggage, my last girlfriend died of AIDS because she took the drugs so no, I can not see you Mimi, you remind me of her -- and Mimi's like 'I'm sorry about your girlfriend Roger but you must live for TODAY. We can be happy together now, go for it!' and they do end up together on a snowy night which appeals to the romantic bits of my soul. There's also Maureen and Joanne but umm so far I don't like Maureen at all so I'll have to see what happens there). There's a surprisingly high number of good songs and there's this one scene where Mark (dumped by Maureen for Joanne) and Joanne sing together about how Maureen screws with everybody and Joanne starts to suspect bad things and they finish off and Mark's all '=D Suddenly I feel much better' and Joanne's like 'D= I feel terrible' which was awesome. xD
Apparently Tokyopop is FINALLY releasing Volume 12 of DN Angel. I'll have to read it the next time I'm at the bookstore; hopefully I won't be too confused since it's been over a year since I've read the series.
On an end note my cousin Sara is scarily messy. 0_o Real estate guy came over to take pictures of our house so we had to clean up a bit. I was doing the bedrooms which went something like this.
MY ROOM: -puts away books, straightens up dresser, tucks away backpack, done-
PARENTS ROOM: -makes beds, sweeps everything off desks, puts away clothes, done-
AHMED's ROOM: -stuffs games, money, and random things which shall be nameless into drawer, done-
SARA'S ROOM: -stares. Backs away. Goes downstairs- Mom, I'm going to need backup!
