There are people on youtube who hate Katy Perry's cover of Use Your Love. I can not understand these people. Their mindset is foreign to me.

Why would you hate this? I mean I've never heard the original sure, but her's sounds good. :/

I discovered a new comic book series. It's called The 99 and it's pretty awesome from what I've seen of it.

I don't know. Their hatred could be not based on the song itself, but by the fact that Katy Perry seems to be generally irritating.

She has a really husky, unique voice, which I can appreciate, but I still find her irritating. That has more to do with the fact that I resent anyone who sings about lipgloss and chapstick (especially of the cherry variety).

Fair enough. :) I kind of think people are focusing on the wrong song really. I mean I Kissed A Girl isn't terrible I suppose but I really enjoy the rest of her songs alot more. But whatever, it's the one with a music video so it doesn't surprise me.
