Pretty standard stuff but fun execution. And these people make friends weirdly quickly. 3 stars

13. Gifted (May 6) -- 3.5 stars

A heartwarming movie about how Chris Evans is a Good Uncle™ and how principals and mathematicians are evil. Also Octavia Spencer is the best Mom Friend. 3.5 stars

14. Queen of Versailles (May 6) -- 3.5 stars

This is a well-made documentary but honestly it makes me feel pretty sick to think of how many hungry people could be fed on the money the Siegels throw around on sheer nonsense. Sing it with me everyone: wealth redistribution! wealth redistribution! WEALTH REDISTRIBUTION! 3.5 stars

15. Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2 (May 9) -- 3 stars

A lot of fun. Very fanservicey but in a good way. 3 stars

16. Minimalism: A Documentary About the Important Things (May 12) -- 3 stars

You ever notice how it's always people who work at Rich People™ jobs who go on about minimalism? Like I approve of the general idea, I don't like excessive consumerism either, but when they talk about lacking meaning in their life and fixing it by selling all their stuff it's like hmm, maybe you wouldn't feel so empty if you focused less on Attaining Happiness and more on doing things that are good for the world. Just a thought.

I really did like this documentary though. 3 stars

17. Beauty and the Beast (animated) (May 14) -- 3.5 stars

I'm glad I watched the live action first because this is better and I feel like I would have been more critical of it in comparison. 3.5 stars

18. Star Wars: A New Hope (May 22) -- 3 stars

Oh man I was so sleepy watching this so idk if I really ~absorbed~ the whole experience but it seemed pretty okay! 3 stars
