Ugh, another US remake?!!! Its getting ridiculous how writers from the US can't come up with an original concept nowadays. I've never seen the UK version of Skins, but I have a feeling the US version will never measure up!!!
It's quite good! I mean absolutely crazy (some of the things these writers come up with 0_o) but it manages to be emotionally gripping television. I'd try it if you have some free time. We can boggle at the writers decisions together! (I don't want to spoil you but seriously. I was spoiled for the first season finale and I was still in a state of WHAT when I saw it). The US remake is a travesty not to be borne. >( Get your own television America. It's not that hard. Heck, just quit cancelling every show you have that takes the slightest bit of time to build up a fanbase and you'd be fine.
Oooh, I think when I have more time, I'll do just that. I can't get enough of British tv so what's one more.

Amen to this!!! Its really disturbing how easy the networks dismiss shows when they can't muster up enough viewers. That's why I have a feeling that in a couple years time, network tv will just die away, replaced by cable tv shows!
