themadpokerHahaha oh my God guys. My brother and I can be the most stubbornly competitive people in the UNIVERSE sometimes.
Okay, so how our days go is this. We wake up for suhoor at 4:25 AM, eat, pray around 5:00 and then go back to sleep. Today this plan got a little derailed because my brother and I somehow got into a competition to see who had picked up more Japanese vocabulary from our various modes of entertainment.
We stayed up playing this game for nearly THREE HOURS. >_> Neither of us would give in! Towards the end there were these super long pauses as we each wracked our brains for just one more word. Ahmed actually fell asleep during one of my turns and I poked him awake because no! He had to hear and acknowledge my victory!
But you know what guys? It's okay. Because victory tastes SWEET. =DDD
On a completely different tack, oh my God JAPAN. Sometimes I seriously wonder about that country. Does it feed off tears or something? Who kills off one of the main cast three episodes to go from the end of the series? On a CHILDREN'S SHOW?!?
-sulks- I thought I was safe. I thought, it's a silly little toku, everyone will make it out okay! I don't know why I was so foolish, I watched Keitai Sousaken 7 before and it ended in tears too. Still at least KS7 didn't kill off any of their human cast!
Now I'm afraid to watch the finale. What if they kill off Misaki? Tadokoro-san? GON? I do not TRUST this show anymore, they would so not be above killing off an eight year old for great misery.
Well I guess if I'm going to be rational there's no real chance of that happening and I could have guessed as soon as it was revealed that Tsurugi was a worm that he'd die because there's no way he could accept being the creature that killed his sister but no! NO, this post is not for rationality, it is for bitter heartbroken rambling.
And of course they gave us an adorable OTP episode with Tsurugi and Misaki right before they killed him. IT JUST MAKES THE KNIFE TWIST IN THAT MUCH MORE PAINFULLY.
From now on all I'm watching are rom coms where I've been spoiled for the endings. /is resolute
