I totally liked the ending. =D Harry Dresden: cockblocked by DEATH. EXCELLENT.
Hee, I'd probably be annoyed if I really shipped Harry/Murphy but since I don't particularly the last few pages simply filled me with glee. No you CANNOT get some Harry. Because the universe hates you. YOU WILL MEET A TRAIN AT THE END OF A TUNNEL BEFORE YOU EVER GET TO SLEEP WITH KARRIN MURPHY.
Speaking of which, remember the time she took down like half a million vampires? THAT WAS PRETTY COOL. Word Sanya, Murphy is fierce.
Also stuff like this probably contributed a bit to how happy the ending made me.
Lolol, maybe if you'd stop spouting off all this gender essentialist ridiculousity the universe would let you catch a break. BUT YOU DO NOT AND IT WILL NOT, AND THE ENDLESS CYCLE OF HARRY DRESDEN UNIVERSE BEATDOWNS CONTINUES.
Also it kind of took me a really long time to catch on but are there ANY female villains that aren't sexualized in this series? I kind of hit my tipping point with Alamaya the virgin sacrifice and then was like 'WAIT, this has been happening ALL ALONG? How did I not notice? PROBABLY BECAUSE I WAS PAYING TOO MUCH ATTENTION TO THOMAS? Oh Butcher, if you'd only been more equal opportunity with your fanservice in this volume I would have never caught on! Clearly this is a sign that there should be more hot vampires in volume 15. And Lara does not count though she can still show up because she's cool. I'm just saying she will not help you equalize the huge eye candy inequality you've got going on'.
...I should probably mention to you all that I did actually like this book. xD I JUST NOTICED SOME SLIGHTLY ANNOYING THINGS THIS VOLUME? But there were also great things like the Erlking and Mab broadcasting Harry's becoming the Winter Knight throughout every source of water in the Nevernever (lololol forever oh Mab), or when Harry and Susan managed to destroy the entire Red Court WHAT NOW, or Leanansidhe, faerie fashion consultant or my growing ability to guess every and all Dresden files plot twists (Martin guys, who didn't see Martin coming. When I read Harry's description of his soul it was like PWNED, am I amazing or what, I could have told you that thirty chapters ago).
So yeah! GOOD LUCK REMEMBERING HOW TO SWIM HARRY.
P.S. Also please never tell me about how hot Molly is again because it is really creepy, she's a teenager ugh. THOMAS AND HARRY YOU ARE BEING KIND OF SKEEVY, QUIT IT.
