themadpoker: (never giving up)

Heeeeey Internet. My paper is going terribly! I am thinking maybe I should just skip lecture entirely tomorrow, something tells me I'll be a little too tired to be getting anything out of it. Also I am sort of starting to hate poli sci with the power of a million burning hateful suns. :/ I wonder what eating so many chocolate covered granola bars will do to my health? Probably not good things!

On the bright side I have got my second wind and am no longer shivering! On that note, does anyone else start shivering like they are freezing whenever they stay up too late? Or am I just a strange biological anomaly?

If you're not going to get anything out of the lecture and you'll be more productive by skipping it, then do so. There's no sense going if you're just going to sit there like a zombie (especially when your time could be better spent).

I don't shiver when I stay up late, but my eyes burn and my hands start trembling. I think we all have our little sleep-deprived ailments -- nothing to worry about!

Good luck with the paper! YOU CAN DO IT!!

Ended up going! I managed to get in five hours of sleep beforehand which depending on circumstance is manageable for me.

Also I googled it because these things bug me. Apparently sleep deprivation does actually result in a small drop in body temperature. Which would explain the shivering! ^o^ Although yeah, being sleep deprived can result in all sort of fun and wacky reactions.

Yep! No idea what causes it, but I shiver terribly when I stay up too late.

Likewise, you are an anomaly, that happens to be biologically strange. (=
