Another TV Meme

hmsharmony gave me Merlin, Doctor Who, and Avatar: the Last Airbender. From Doctor Who I've only seen season 1, the Christmas special, and the first episode of season 2. From Avatar I've seen the first fourteen episodes. So keep that in mind peeps!


Merlin
1. The first character I fell in love with: Either Merlin or Gwen, I cannot quite remember which. I know in the early episodes I was basically like '=DDDDD Gwen is the adorablest. Show up some more Gwen! Oh Merlin, how can you stand there babbling about how beautiful some other girl is when you have the prettiest girl in the world beside you?' But I am sure I quite liked Merlin as well so. -le shrug-
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Mmm, I don't know. I didn't really hardcore dislike anyone to start with. I mean Arthur was a prat obviously but I was operating under the assumption he would get better so I just rolled with it. Nimueh maybe? I was ridiculously sad when Merlin killed her in the finale, I thought she was really interesting!
4. The character I love that everyone else hates: Haven't really seen a lot of haterade for my lovelies. -snuggles-
5. The character I used to love but don't any longer: Gaius maybe? Sure he loves Merlin and all but man, he gives him the worst advice! MY GIRL MORGANA. T^T
6. The character I would shag anytime: Ahahaha, I cannot imagine shagging anyone on Merlin. I love them all but not that way.
7. The character I want to be like: As a person? Gwen. But Merlin wins because I want awesome magical powers.
8. The character I'd slap: Alvarr. Dude, I sympathize with the rebellion and all that, because, y'know, can't be all that great living under a guy with a genocidal opposition to magical people. But who do you think you are, hitting on Morgana when you've got a girlfriend? NEVER IN A THOUSAND YEARS BUSTER.
9. A pairing that I love: ARTHUR/GWEN. =DDD It's been ages since I had a real OTP like this. I mean I throw the term all over the place but generally I am not super attached to any particular pairing in TV shows. NOT SO HERE. I love them and I am so looking forward to seeing them rule Camelot and have their golden age. They are the GREATEST.
10. A pairing that I hate: No hate! Arthur/Gwen are my OTP but Merlin has also made me a multishipper! They are just the ones I want to return to at the end of the day.
11. Favorite character: GUINEVERE YO. Sometimes I feel like a spend at least 20% of my time on this LJ explaining why Guinevere is the best and I love her. xD Guys, she is the future queen of Camelot. When Merlin asked her she told him she wouldn't want Uther dead even though no one could've blamed for saying otherwise. She brings Morgana flowers because they are BFFs (and will remain so! COME BACK TO CAMELOT MORGANA). She never says anything but everytime Uther enters the room you can see her face get colder. She told Arthur off for being a brat (twice! 1.10 and 2.02 you guys are awesome). She is clearly well liked among the common folk (2.07). Once she helped Merlin save Gaius from being burnt at the stake. THERE ARE MANY MANY REASONS FOLKS.
12. My five favorite characters: Gwen, Arthur, Merlin, Morgana, Morgause/Leon (hard choice okay)
13. My five least favorite characters: Kanin, Alvarr, Hengist, Halig, King Alined? Was it him or Olaf that had Trickler enchant Arthur and Vivian?
14. Which character I am most like: Hmm. Tough question. I feel like I can relate to Morgana's flying off the handle a bit though I can usually reign myself in and get over things much more quickly (then again I have never lived under a tyrant in fear of my life. I would probably be a lot more inclined to act like her if I did!) And I've got some of Merlin's super grinny 'THINGS ARE ALRIGHT NOW, LET US LAUGH' attitude as well. Plenty of Gwen's reserved not talking so much about feelings thing. So I can't really pick one? I am not really a whole lot like any of them, I just share some traits.

Doctor Who
1. The first character I fell in love with: The Ninth Doctor. I was pretty much enchanted by the end of episode 1.
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Umm. This is where my lack of episodes really comes into play. Maybe in the future I will find myself really loving the Tenth Doctor and will answer this question with him? WHO KNOWS.
4. The character I love that everyone else hates: I have not really ventured into Doctor Who fandom but I cannot imagine that anyone hates Nine, Rose, or Jack. So no answer!
5. The character I used to love but don't any longer: Ahahaha, one season folks. I haven't even had time to start disliking anyone, I still have my cloud of generalized first season love.
6. The character I would shag anytime: Nine. =DDDD
7. The character I want to be like: Mickey once he steps up to the hero plate. I can get not going off with the Doctor in the TARDIS, you need to be a special sort of person to be like 'SURE ABSOLUTELY' right away (Rose <333). I like the idea that he's still on Earth doing his normal thing but he has the capability to go on and do something when alien trouble is afoot. Go Mickey, foot soldier of normalcy!
8. The character I'd slap: Ten. ^^ Look, he got Harriet Jones fired! Probably I will get over that somewhat after I see him doing awesome things in other episodes but at the very least he deserves a slap.
9. A pairing that I love: Nine/Rose. Except Nine/Rose exactly as the show gave it to me, I have absolutely no interest in reading fanfiction for them. I really feel like what I got in season 1 was perfect on that front.
10. A pairing that I hate: Not in the fandom, don't even know what the popular pairings are. I cannot hate a pairing I've never heard of!
11. Favorite character: Niiiiine. ;_;
12. My five favorite characters: Nine, Rose, Mickey, Jack, Jabe.
13. My five least favorite characters: -shrug- Again, lack of episodes hinders me here. Ten at the moment and...?
14. Which character I am most like: Erm. I can see this is going to be the hardest question for me in this entire meme! I think Rose. I just really got that 'omg amazing *_____*' approach she had to all the places the Doctor took her to. I don't know if I'm most like her but I could definitely relate to her the whole first season so maybe I am.

Avatar: the Last Airbender
1. The first character I fell in love with: Aang. He is so much fun! He has some sort of hoverboard ball made of air! He rides on various animals! Seriously guys, he is just made of happy.
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Zuko? I mean he always made me smile on account of being the angriest teenager ever but I just saw The Storm last night. Oh Zuko. You were not always so angry! You were a pretty good kid! Just needed to work on your judgement a little.
4. The character I love that everyone else hates: Who is there to hate in Avatar? Except for Zuko's dad obviously but from our main cast? They are all great! Ahahaha, maybe it was not my most brilliant idea to do a fandom meme where I don't even know the fandom for two out of the three shows I was given. xD
5. The character I used to love but don't any longer: I have no one for this. Jet proved to be a tool but I was spoiled for this from the very beginning so I never got to liking him all that much in the first place.
6. The character I would shag anytime: Dude. None of them have even finished puberty yet. Not even a tiny bit interested.
7. The character I want to be like: Aang. He is so friendly and has so much fun with things. I feel this is a great attitude to take towards life.
8. The character I'd slap: Zuko's dad. D< How could he hurt his own kid like that? He is the WORST.
9. A pairing that I love: No pairings just yet! Aang's crush on Katara is adorable but clearly she doesn't see him that way right now. Maybe that will change? Who knows!
10. A pairing that I hate: I cannot hate a pairing when there aren't any yet. I mean what plausible pairings are there in the context of the first 14 episodes? There was Kataru/Haru who were cute but just a one episode thing. There was Sokka/Suki which again with the cute but one off. And Katara/Jet I suppose but he pretty firmly killed that. And there's Aang's crush. I have yet to see anything even the slightest bit objectionable.
11. Favorite character: Aang. I am Team Aang people. The FUNBENDER.
12. My five favorite characters: Aang, Katara, Sokka, Zuko, Iroh.
13. My five least favorite characters: Zuko's dad, Jet, the general dude who's trying to capture Aang before Zuko. Aaand that's pretty much it.
14. Which character I am most like: I'm going to have to go with Katara. Would like to learn waterbending other things which are interesting and could happen in reality? Cannot help being frustrated when Aang people easily learn things I am having trouble with? Feel that yes, it is usually better to be safe than sorry especially if the safety isn't too much trouble?
