The sky is over

So my Cuban missile crisis essay seems to have turned into one long Kennedy diss. With small toppings of Khrushchev. :/ Interesting seeing as I am actually largely indifferent towards Kennedy. Although I hear Americans generally think he's pretty awesome.

I really wish I could summon up at least a small degree of interest in this essay. I need to make an argument about how abandoning brinkmanship allowed them to resolve the crisis so I can go to bed already.

I've been reading Naomi Klein's No Logo for the past two days. It's really good although I am having trouble figuring out precisely how I am going to write a review for it. :/ I mean it's about so many things! I could barely manage a summary when people asked me what it was about today.

I kind of like reading non-fiction, it's an interesting change. I'm thinking of picking up The Dark Side by Jane Meyers again. In honour of the possible Truth Commission (cross your fingers it passes. And sign avaaz.org's petition)

Oh shoot, I didn't get a club photo for Earthcore today. >_> Why do I always remember these things after I can do anything about it?

Yeah I'm going to go procrastinate and read Harry Potter/Sailor Moon crossover fanfiction now.
