My mom doesn't want me to go to Anime North because she thinks it's unnecessary and it'd be better to spend the 40 dollars on sending money to Eritrea (we send it to our family and they make sure it gets to charity). And she's kind of completely right so I'm going to go check the website and see if they have the same volunteer-instead-of-paying deal they had last year. *crosses fingers* I really want to go!
