themadpokerSometimes the entries in my 'DUH! The Dumbest Things Ever Said or Done' calendar sound like Ms. Snyder in my head. 0_o No really, here's today's entry.

Back in the 1980s when Americans learned about a rise in the pregnancy rate among teenage girls, conservative political activist Phyllis Schlafy explained what was going on to a worried nation.
"Sex education," she scolded, "is the principal cause of teenage pregnancy." This relieved the guilty feelings of thousands of teenage boys, who might have thought that they were the principal cause.
