Whenever we go to the US my brother and I tend to resume on ongoing debate with our cousins: 'Canada vs. US Showdown: Of Course We're Cooler Than You :P' One of the points we used last year was 'your country was lame enough to elect Bush into office. Twice.'

Of course we're now going to say your country accepted a completely, horribly fraudulent election. Nyet.

You totally can. Although I have to warn you, our politics are nowhere near as interesting. Our most recent 'scandal' consisted of the Caonservative party sharing funding between its local and national levels (which I didn't even know was illegal. It is a good thing I do not head the Conservative Party).
