I want to read Breaking Dawn. >_> I mean I know the first 7 chapters failed. I know I am going to scream in horror when Meyer has Jacob imprint on Renesmee (Renesmee. That is a crime against nature. Bella if you love your child as much as you seemed to in part 2 of BD you would've given her a name that wasn't going to have people recoiling in horror).

...but I still want to. I mean, I thought part two was good! And I'm curious! And I've read Life of Pi, okay, Meyer's isn't going to beat that one for failtasticness no matter how good an effort she puts out.

And I love Seth okay? I don't care what anyone says; Meyer writes her werewolves well.

And if nothing else, I can make fun of all the crack pairings! You could write whole primers with the material Meyer gave in just the first 14 chapters!

And, well, the more I go back to re-read Part Two the more I like it. I kind of feel like an utter failure to be admitting to liking parts of Breaking Dawn. Like I just lost whatever good literary taste cred I may have had.

Does Meyer even explain how Bella gets pregnant? Because I just don't get it. Let's talk human anatomy guys. How many of you think a guy can impregnate a girl with vampire venom? Because according to Meyer that's the only bodily fluid vampires have. IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE.

Someone needs to write fanfic explaining it.

You know, if people can get past the failing portions of BD there is going to be an awesome explosion of fanfic from it. Because seriously. It fits my fanfic theory! Which is that: books which are semi-good but have many wide gaping plot holes are the kind that attract tons of fanfic because people keep wanting it to make sense. I cite Harry Potter as my prime example. I mean I am not even a real fanfic writer and Nav and I still spent a couple of hours trying to create an explanation for the origins of magic in the HP-verse (it had a lot to do with recessive chromosomes and channeling energy that is already there into different forms and having certain materials working better as conduits - hence wands).
