I think I offended my Group 4 leader but I really don't care. =D Sent out an e-mail to the group myself, since he hadn't bothered to set up a meeting yet and I thought it was about time we did. He sent a rather stroppy reply about how START conference is this week-end and he wants to set up a time that's convenient for everyone, not just a few.
Did I mention we were assigned this project a month ago? And the conference is ONLY this week-end?
Yeah I wasn't impressed either.
In other news, things are being awesome. =D I have two confirmations for the environmental fair on the 22nd, and on organization sending information ahead. Posters are done, though donations are still lacking. =( I live in hope.
Also, I've been invited to work on a documentary on energy conservation that will be shown in elementary schools all across Canada. =D Apparently it's part of some government initiative to raise environmental awareness; they're paying for everything. Was thinking about declining due to transportation issues (now that we only have one car getting Toronto is a bit difficult for me) but I decided to just go for it and see what happens. There's always the bus.
And the White Pine nominations this year are amazing. Already read Keturah and Lord Death on my way to Egypt last year, I loved it. Just finished Another Kind of Cowboy by Susan Judy and if everything else didn't look so good I'd be 100% positive it's the one I'm voting for. As it stands I'm only 95% sure.
