22. John Mulaney: New In Town (October 7) -- 4 stars

This didn't even have my favourite Mulaney skit (it's the Salt and Pepper diner one because let's be honest, everyone's favourite is the Salt and Pepper diner) and it was still hilarious as heck. 4 stars

23. John Mulaney: The Comeback Kid (October 7) -- 3.5 stars

I feel like I have learned so much about comedy from watching John Mulaney and I fully intend to apply this knowledge as soon as possible. 3.5 stars

24. X-Love (October 16) -- 3.5 stars

I can't say very much about this movie without spoiling it (it's only 15 minutes long) but it's cute, had great production values and delivered on feelings. You can see it on youtube (with subtitles dw) here:

25. Front Cover (October 27) -- 4 stars

Good movie which had the side effect of making me feel guilty about my inability to cook any Eritrean food. >_> I was pitying Ryan at the beginning for being so disconnected to his culture (he treated Chinese food as gross! What the heck!) and then began contemplating how I can't speak Tigrigna...and I avoid making boon unless my mom actually makes me...and while I have the sense to know Eritrean food is delicious I don't actually know how to cook any...

I mean the romance drama was good too but ouch those immigrant diaspora feels. 4 stars
