13. The Barkley Marathons: The Race That Eats Its Young (November 30) -- 4 stars

So this is a documentary about people who voluntarily choose to torture themselves by competing in the world's most sadistic marathon. I was amazed, impressed, and slightly terrified by all of them. This world is full of some truly interesting human beings. 4 stars
