7. Kamikaze Girls (July 4) -- 4 stars

It's the epic goth loli meets yanki biker friendship story you never knew you wanted! Honestly this is a tough movie to describe, it's an explosion of style anchored in Momoko and Ichiko's slow growing friendship. The only thing I can think to tell you is this is a movie that lets you watch a girl dressed in a frilly Rococo style dress ride in on her grandmother's motorcycle and deliver baseball bat beatdowns to a biker gang in defense of her friend. Highly recommended! :D 4 stars

8. The King and the Clown (July 9) -- 4 stars

This was gorgeous. There was nothing I didn't love about this film, the cinematography was beautiful, the actors were great, and I laughed and cried exactly when the film wanted me to. Highly recommended. 4 stars

I was sad you only gave the Kamikaze Girls book 2.5 stars but then I realized that it was the manga you were talking about! So may I recommend the light novel? It is excellent as the movie is or more, imho.
