In all possible ways. Gorgeous weather and I got to watch the first half of Howl's Moving Castle in Anime Club. :) If that doesn't qualify as beautiful I don't know what does. It was pretty good but I've read the book so I kept going WOAH that wasn't how I pictured Howl/Sophie/Calcifer in my head. Micheal Fisher was pretty adorable but younger looking then I would've thought. I'm not sure how the movie's going to pull off the Martha and Lettie thing with him looking so young. Looking forward to seeing the second half next week.

amari_sakura put up a ton of memes. Seeing as I've only got about an hour of homework tonight I figured I could indulge myself. :)

Howl's Moving Castle is amazing. :3 I saw the movie before I read the book so I already had all these images in my head, including thinking of Michael as a child when in the book he's... 15 I think? Something like that. I don't remember what happens in either the book or movie as it's been a while since I've read/seen it, but it's different. Still good, but different. I totally want to go watch HMC now. o_o;

It is amazing. I argued so hard for us to watch it last week. These 4 other guys wanted to watch Ninja Scroll. *disdainful sniff* Ninja Scroll. When Howl's Moving Castle is availabe. What is the world coming to these days?

Been awhile since I read the book so things are a bit fuzzy as well. Still I noticed movie Sophie isn't nearly as sensible (in the old London governessy kind of way) and sharp as the book version. She's all cute and grandmotherly-like in the movie. Howl also seems a good deal more sparkly/nicer/less selfish. And they made the Witch of the Waste really ugly. 0_o I guess they wanted to make the good guys more obviously good in the film version.

I thought Howl seemed nicer in the movie too, in the book he was more...not so nice. From the book I got the image that the Witch was beautiful, not ugly and old like in the movie... :P

Yeah me too. But eh it's like the Harry Potter movies. You have to look at the book and film as two separate things (although with Harry Potter that's more to prevent yourself from hurling something at the screen. :D).
