I legit loved it. And I have to say, this episode single-handedly saved my Merlin/Gwen love. Gwaine is going to have to be REALLY convincing if he wants to replace Merlin as Gwen's bff. THEY WERE ADORABLE AND AWESOME. OMG.
Also, Gwen was ridiculously hot in that nightgown scene. WOW.
I had no expectations for this ep! So I guess it doesn't mean much to say it exceeded them? BUT IT DID. =D
I loved the Merlin/Gwen so much, it was that post on onceandfutures about the return of the Camelot Detective Agency that made me realize I was probably going to actually like this episode.
Gwen's hotness is AMAZING and should be utilized at all times. Also it probably says something about my expectations for this show that I was gleefully surprised when she kept showing up! Again and again! SHE ACTUALLY HAD AS MANY (MAYBE EVEN MORE?) SCENES WITH MERLIN THAN ARTHUR!
I know, right? It's like Gwen became clairvoyant and KNEW exactly the right time to appear to get herself on camera. IT WAS SO AMAZING. OMG. SO MUCH GWEN.

Gaius slapping Uther repeatedly was like a balm to my SOUL. At that point I was kind of like, '...do we HAVE to kick the goblin out? I think he has the right idea!'
