Mar. 20th, 2009 04:36 pmI am wearing a pretty pretty outift and am as such quite pleased with myself. =) I mean seriously! My hair is braided, I took a shower, I've got a skirt. I am astonishingly together. It is a pity it shant last.
So March Break's been a barrel of good times. I visited York, Ryerson, Waterloo, and UtM. I am leaning towards Ryerson because I really like their campus location (downtown! Is my hometown! Who doesn't love downtown?) but I feel I am biased on account of having gone there just yesterday. Therefore I shall do more research and other academically intelligent things before choosing a place.
I also went to my cousin's (I think he's my cousin. He's the brother of the lady my cousin married and I'm pretty sure I'm also related to her in SOME way so we're going to go with cousin) wedding. It was good times too particularly after I decided that I didn't give a flying macaroni that I don't know how to Eritrean dance and was going to have fun dancing anyways. Hanae laughed at me but Hanae's a Hanae-ish giant so what do I care? There is justice in the universe. =)
I haven't done any schoolwork (except read Fifth Business. Hurrah for long bus and subway rides!) but I say piffle to that. I am so done with worrying about school, it is bad for my general happiness quotient (GHQ).
I was a bit discombobulated earlier taking out the trash because I realized I couldn't figure out which general high school stereotype (GHSS not to be confused with GHQ) I fit into. I mean normally I would go with nerd but I feel there is an element of deceit in that as I am not very academically inclined at all. I don't like schoolwork! I shy away from history texts! I do not enjoy math problems.
:/ I hope they don't revoke my IB status for this.
And then I was like I could be a prep? Only prep seems the most boring GHSS one could possibly be. Who wants to be a sterotype based solely on the sort of clothing you wear? =/ I mean come on, most of the others get music and life outlooks as well.
I don't really fit into gangster, goth, punk, stoner, popular girl, athlete, or gamer geek so I seem to be fresh out of options.
Somebody needs to invent a GHSS for kids who aren't much of anything.
Anyways my mom has been busy today creating some truly delightful food. I am off to go consume some. Happy March 20th!
