I want to catch up on Death Note this week-end. I'm reading chapter 81 right now and I have to say my most dominant thought is...

EDIT: Is it slightly scary that I just read Mikami's backstory (chapter 84) and I'm only fangirling him harder? If this keeps up I'm going to attempt a fanfiction. It will probably suck and never see the light of day (like quite a few others on my computer) but at least I shall have tried. :) Back to Death Note now.

P.S. Near is annoying the heck out of me. He's trying to be L but he does not have any of his likeableness. :@ He's one character I doubt I'll be sad to see go.

More Death Note commentary

I just finished chapter 87. Oddly enough I am sort of liking Raito again. 0_o Matt is fun, and Ide is making me giggle. :D Why no one writes humor on the NPA team I don't know. They're such lovable dorks; they're perfect! Also I really want to read Takada backstory. She's interesting me for some reason. Can anyone point me in the way of fanfiction on her? (or at least mentioning her.)

P.S. For the curious, yes I am still insanely in love with Mikami. But he hasn't shown up for a bit and I'm fickle. ;) There shall be ravings once I get to see him properly again.

Also I need a pimp!Raito icon. Because in an alternate universe he totally would be. :P
