Am in need of comfort reads; must find my copy of A Little Princess

Ugh I hate hayfever. My head is killing me. I can't decide if this is a good trade in for the burning eyes from yesterday or not. Leaning towards not since I'm fasting so I can't even take a Tylenol. =(((((

Since I don't like making posts that are entirely composed of whining (90% is okay! Just not 100%), here, have a rec.

the heart i gave to you (i cannot find) Post-Mockingjay, Gale POV. Remember how yesterday's rec was sweet and had a sense of healing? This one hurts

He dreams about the bombs, his bombs, sometimes. A lot of the time, if he is being honest, which he isn't.

He dreams about Primrose Everdeen going up in flames, bright and beautiful but without her sister's protections; Prim was never the girl on fire until she was dead.

Brb, crying forever, that's one death I'm definitely not over yet. ;_; She says she's doing Finnick and Johanna fic next, I'm pretty sure it'll destroy me.

EDIT: Also now that you're done that check out this piece of awesome Hunger Games fanart for healing!
CHIBIS: Finnick Meets Johanna FINNICK AND JOHANNA, BROS FOR LIFE Y/Y/Y? Also no spoilers. =DDDD

EDIT THE SECOND: Omg, make sure you look at all of her pieces, so much joy in my heart. Some Mockingjay spoilers in the others though.

YAY, thanks for these recs!

lmao one of the reviews that hit my f-list is full of Katniss hate and I just realized how big a stan I am for her. I'm not necessarily a stan of Collins' writing as a whole, but I stan Katniss HARD the more reviews I read that trash her for being too passive in Mockingjay. I can't even.

That was like the exact process of my feelings the more Mockingjay reviews came in. !!! Mockingjay reviews! =D --> Wait, WHAT did you say about Katniss Everdeen??? D= --> Post about how dumb the Hunger Games fandom is

Hey, have you ever read Kristin Cashore's Graceling? They're not exactly that similar but I associate Katniss and Katsa alot in my head. Probably because I read The Hunger Games around the same time and they're both girls whose names start with K, are totally awesome, did not want children (well Katniss didn't in The Hunger Games anyways)

I haven't read that! But I'm gonna go home and download it tonight, hehehe.
