Merlin Reaction: 3.04 Gwaine

- Does Merlin have the greatest taste in crushes or what? I don't know why Uther's gotta be such a hater, always banishing his boyfriends from Camelot. BOO Uther, maybe if you let Gwaine stay he could split shirtless duties with Arthur and I wouldn't have to worry about the inevitable day when he is unable to defend Camelot due to having caught a bad cold.

- Also maybe it is because I am a not a knight but I don't understand how the melee is supposed to prove Arthur will be a good leader to Camelot. Could be just me but if my prime minister decided to brawl it up to prove his MANLINESS leadership capabilities I wouldn't feel all that reassured about the state of the country.

- Did you all notice how Gwen had like three outfits this episode? It was BEAUTIFUL.

- ~Gwaine~ extra endeared himself to me for zeroing in on Gwen as the girl to court in Camelot and also knowing when to quit. I cannot wait for the Harem Round Table to be finalized.

- Also lolol, are pickled eggs becoming a thing with this show? What with Merlin being desperate to protect the eggs in the bar brawl (no really watch him! He is all focused on KEEPING THE EGGS SAFE) and Gwaine ordering four dozen of them. Maybe they were a present for Merlin! =D What'd I say, he pickes the BEST people to crush on.

- Notice how Gwaine is a CLEVER person who picks up on things. Or alternately, Gwen's love for Arthur is just that obvious. I'm good with both these scenarios. =D

- I kind of think there's something in Camelot's water that makes people forget things. Look at Merlin's DISMAY that he might have to use magic in front of people! You mean like you do every week? Like you did last night at the brawl? People in Camelot wear magical blinders, I think you're going to be okay.

- On that same vein: OMG SORCERY! Uther is shocked, shocked I tell you. It's not like people using magic to try and kill the Pendragons is a regular thing or whatever.

- I actually completely forgot about Morgana until she popped up in the melee scene. I think I am getting a little too adjusted to this show. I guess I was simply too distracted by ~GWAINE~.

- And finally, the end scene was BEAUTIFUL. =D It's too bad my new mate's leaving now, wait is he talking to Gwen, OKAY GWAINE I THINK IT'S TIME FOR YOU TO GO. This isn't how I thought it was going to work out from the promo description but I totally preferred how they did it!

- Ooh wait, forgot to mention, I think Mary the barkeeper has great taste. I hope Arthur remembers to send her some money to cover all the brawl destruction.
