Hi guys. Today we are going to talk about a weird stupid thing I do often. My friends have named it Bio Syndrome.

See there is an explanation to this name. Back in May I was writing my bio exam. Now IB exams are composed of multiple parts but what we'll be focusing on is Paper 2 Part B. In this section you are to answer one long answer question from a choice of three questions.

So when I was looking over the questions I noticed something. One of the questions? I had run across it before in practice exams. I remembered precisely what I needed to say in order to obtain full marks on it. Now the logical thing to do would've been to answer that question, right?

Yes. Yes it would have. Except the question was on Ecology and Evolution. And I think that unit's boring. And apparently (please don't ask me why my brain thought this made sense at ALL) I would rather do a less boring question than one where I am certain I can get full marks. So that's what I did.

Understandably, when I narrated this particular tale to my carpool friends they thought I was an idiot. A horrendous terrible idiot. They explained to me that while boredom was a semi-acceptable reason for such behaviour on tests or small assignments it was not on an exam.

And I was realizing I do this. All the time. I will completely pass on what seems to be an easier or more sensible option for no better reason then I don't like it/don't find it interesting. >_>

Yeah. Bio Syndrome, ladies and gentlemen. Try not to catch it.
